Patricia A. Mobley Scholarship

The Patricia Mobley Nursing Scholarship was established in honor of Ms. Patricia Cochran Mobley for students in the Associate Degree and Practical Nursing Program.

Mrs. Mobley was a nurse at Baptist Hospital and Crawford Long; and a dedicated nursing instructor with Forsyth Tech for 24 years. She was also member of Bethabara Moravian Church where she was on the Board of Elders and a Sunday School Teacher; an officer of the North Carolina Nurses Association; a member of the Wake Forest Deacon Club; and an avid tennis player.

Mrs. Mobley passed away on December 10, 2012, but her legacy will live on forever. She touched the lives of so many people, not just at Forsyth Tech, but in her career as a nurse. Her sons established this scholarship to continue her legacy through the many nursing students this scholarship will encourage.

The scholarship is awarded to an Associate Degree or Practical Nursing student based on financial need and academic merit. Recipient must reside in North Carolina and have a GPA of at least 3.0.
