Rachel T. Clanton Scholarship

The Rachel Turner Clanton Scholarship in Radiography was established in memory of Mrs. Rachel Turner Clanton. Mrs. Clanton was an instructor at Forsyth Technology Community College, where she taught for many years. She graduated from Anson High School, studied x-ray technology at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem and furthered her education at Gardner-Webb University and Wake Forest University where she received her Master’s Degree. Mrs. Clanton was very passionate about her work and loved her students and teaching. The scholarship is for a second-year student in the Radiography program who has financial need and academic merit.
