Cindy Edwards Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Ms. Cindy Carol Edwards, who passed in February 2017 after a battle with cancer. Ms. Edwards was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She worked at Forsyth Technical Community College as Dental Assisting Program Coordinator and lived her life with top-notch leadership, commitment and morals.

The scholarship is awarded to a Dental Hygiene or Dental Assisting student who has completed one semester of the program, has a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrates financial need and has a desire to be involved in a local professional society after graduation.
