Karen Bowen Scholarship

Created and named in honor of Karen A. Bowen upon her retirement from Forsyth Technical Community College. Karen retired on November 1, 2006 after 35 ? years of service to the college. Karen was a staff associate in the Business Information Technologies Division (Now known as Business Technologies Division). This scholarship began from donations made by her friends and family. Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours)

Applicant must be a positive representative of the Business Technologies program in the college and community, display the potential for a successful career in the student’s chosen field and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicant must also have earned at least 50% of the credit hours needed for graduation by the end of Spring 2015.
